Just came across this cute video (via Twitter) of 4 hours of time lapse photos of a 9-month-old baby condensed into 2 minutes. Funny how the play mat is in the center of his activity, and yet it seems to interest him not at all.

Wow, I love this. I’m especially amazed that he wants the hard floor over the soft padding. There’s just no predicting what a baby will really want to play with – projecting our adult thoughts into their actions just doesn’t work.
Babies are entropy machines.
How’d they ever get a toddler to play for 4 hours?
All I can think of is the obvious merits of Swiffer brand onesies.
