Izzy is in his third week of full-time daycare now. This has really added some freedom to my life that I think will improve/restore my sanity. At the same time, I feel very aware of how much of his life is flying by me. In a few weeks he will be 6 months old! The next thing you know he will be eating solid food and running around the Weaver Street lawn. Soon he’ll want to ride a skateboard to highschool and wonder what is wrong with his dopey parents…

Anyway, I am constantly reminding myself to maximize my time and engagement with Izzy. We need to enjoy his childhood before it passes us by!

Last week we crossed this huge item off our To-Do-Before-Baby list – we got a 4-door car! It’s a Black 2004 Toyota Matrix XRS (Wikipedia, ConsumerGuide) and its got everything we wanted plus a few bonus features. It’s a huge relief to have this done.

We have been continuing to receive tons of great hand-me-downs from friends including a car seat, a dresser (that will also be a changing table), a sling, and even a breast milk pump! There are a few more things we will be adding to the Registry (see permanent link on the tab above) like cloth diapering supplies.

Thanks to everyone for the love and support. We are feeling it!

Here we are at yet another new beginning. Sorry to have let this site lapse into disrepair, but we are bringing it back now. Actually *I* am brining it back. Anyway.

In the future you can find about 3.5 more months of bitching and moaning about pregnancy followed by what will undoubtedly be adorable baby pictures and blissed-out/terrified new parents.

I might even try to resurrect the archive of posts from the wedding blog, which we stopped updating in 2006.  But no promises…
